Curried Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 12 Yorkshire Valley Chicken Drumsticks
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp organic lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh organic ginger; grated
  • 2 tbsp organic garlic; minced
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Ambrosia’s Own Ground Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Ambrosia’s Own Ground Coriander
  • 1/8 tsp Ambrosia’s Own Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt and pepper; to taste
  • Lime wedges

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, add yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, Ambrosia’s Own Ground Turmeric, Ambrosia’s Own Ground Coriander and Ambrosia’s Own Cayenne Pepper.
  2. Score Yorkshire Valley Chicken Drumsticks and add to the large bowl. Toss, ensuring that Yorkshire Valley Chicken Drumsticks are fully coated. Place in refrigerator for 6 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 425 and line a baking pan with foil.
  4. Remove marinated Yorkshire Valley Chicken Drumsticks from the refrigerator. Shake off excess marinade from each drumstick and add to the pan.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, turn and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Remove from oven, allow chicken to rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve with lime wedges.
