Almond Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup Mike & Mike’s Organic Raw Almonds (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup Ambrosia's Own Organic Walnuts (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup Honey or Agave Nectar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup Ambrosia's Own Organic Coconut Palm Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ambrosia's Own Pure Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup Raisins (chopped)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mike & Mike’s Organic Raw Almonds (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup Ambrosia's Own Organic Walnuts (chopped)
  • 1/3 cup Honey or Agave Nectar

  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup Raisins (chopped)

Directions

  1. On a pan lined with parchment paper, roast Oats & Nuts in the oven at 350 for 5 minutes
  2. Remove the pan from the oven
  3. Remove Oats & Nuts & set aside in a bowl to cool
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, honey, coconut sugar, vanilla extract and the salt. Cook until butter has completely dissolved
  5. Combine the butter mixture with the nuts & oats. Let cool
  6. Line a separate pan with parchment paper. Transfer the oat mixture to the pan. Press the mixture down firmly
  7. Cover and place this pan into the fridge for about 2 hours
  8. Remove pan from refrigerator, cut the block of granola into 12 bars
