Do all of our locations carry the same products?

All locations carry many of the same products; however, space and area differ meaning that sometimes different locations have different products. If there is a specific product that you are looking for, please call or email the desired location for more information.

Do we have a customer loyalty program at Ambrosia?

At Ambrosia, we believe in giving our customers the lowest possible prices every day. We work hard to make sure that our prices are lower than our competitors’, and it shows! Typically, we are about 20% less than other retailers. If the average points program saves a customer between 2%-5% on purchases, then Ambrosia is saving customers even more! For example, a points program might save a customer $0.50 on a product that is $9.99, while the same product at Ambrosia would cost $7.99.

What is our return policy?

Exchanges and returns are accepted on the following timelines:
  • Grocery – 14 days
  • Supplements/Health & Beauty – 30 days
Any perishable items with shelf life of fewer that 14 days are subject to our discretion.
We may limit returns at our discretion of quantities in excess of three of the same item.
In the case of defects with product packaging, we will offer an exchange of the exact same item only
We will not accept returns of honey that has crystallized. Crystallization is a natural process that indicates a superior quality honey. More information can be found here.
Returns or exchanges are accepted in-store only. We are unable to process returns or exchanges for pickup or delivery at this time.
Receipts must be present at the time of exchange.
Refund will be given in the original method of payment.
All makeup, nail polish, skin care, books, bulk, special orders & reduced/clearance items are final sale.
No exceptions.
We reserve all rights.
In the case of discrepancies between details found online and in print, the online version will supersede the printed copy.

Do we accept coupons?

Yes, we do! The effective date was July 1st, 2013; therefore, coupons are currently in full effect, and will be until notified otherwise.

Coupons cannot be combined with any other offers:

This means that you cannot combine the coupon with any other discounts, such as monthly specials, in-store specials, or student discounts.

Ambrosia will only be accepting coupons that are valid in Canada.

Do we issue gift cards?

Yes! We offer reloadable gift cards in any amount.

Which forms of payment do we accept?

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Interac.

About our Products

Do we sell reverse osmosis water?

We have a reverse osmosis water machine in-store, and some of the lowest refill prices in the GTA. We also have bottles available for purchase.

Do we carry natural products for pets?

Yes! We carry all-natural pet food and care products from companies such as Crumps, Treatworx, the Soapworks, Purica, and Lick Your Chops. These products are environmentally friendly, and free of toxins or harmful chemicals.

Do we sell Manuka Honey?

Yes, we sell Manuka honey in a number of brands, sizes, and strengths. They can be found in our honey and sweeteners aisles.

Do we sell unpasteurized milk?

No, we do not sell unpasteurized milk. Milk must be pasteurized to be sold in Canada. Pasteurization ensures that the milk is safe to drink; unpasteurized or raw milk comes with an increased risk of serious illnesses.

What kinds of oils do we carry?

We carry olive, grapeseed, avocado, soya, canola, peanut, almond, hemp, flax, sunflower, walnut, safflower, sesame, and coconut oils. We may also carry other varieties, but those are the most popular.

Which brands have gluten-free products?

Some brands include; Little Northern Bakehouse, Glutino, Enjoy Life, Namaste, Rizopia, and O’Doughs.

What products do we carry that are gluten-free?

We carry breads, muffins, cakes, pastas, cereals, and snacks.

Can we special order a product that we do not carry for you?

We will try our best to source a product for you. We require that customers pay a deposit on any products ordered that we do not regularly carry.

Which products in our store are organic?

All of our fruits and vegetables are 100% certified organic.

Our bulk bins contain a variety of natural and organic products. You can also buy organic, pre-bagged or commercially packaged versions of bulk bin items.

Reasons you cannot find a particular item in our store

Many of the health food products sold in our stores and throughout Canada are imported from the United States. With short notice, the Canadian government often disapproves of certain products coming across the border and discontinues further sales of the product within Canada. Furthermore, American corporations often discontinue product lines into Canada, as the regulations between Canada and the United States are quite different and selling to Canada is often not financially feasible.

Can you sell your products in our store?

We proudly support local businesses! If you would like us to carry your products, simply come into the store and drop off samples, a price list, and any other information with any of our staff. We will get back to you in 4-6 weeks if we are interested.
