Apple Cider Vinegar – Used Three Ways

Have you checked out our March Super Specials yet?! Well if you have, I’m sure you’ve noticed that Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is on SALE for $4.99!! So to celebrate, today we’re talking 3 ways to use Bragg’s ACV on the daily!

The Versatility of Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is an INSANELY versatile ingredient and the ways in which you can incorporate this product into your daily routine are positively endless!! Seriously, it’s actually kind of incredible.

In an effort to condense all of the cider’s unique uses to get the absolute most out of this product, I’ve categorized them into 3 wildly different groupings: cooking, beauty & cleaning!

1. Cooking

I personally LOVE using apple cider vinegar in salad dressings; it makes for the most perfect, tangy twist! However there is so much more to explore with this product in terms of recipe variety! Here are just a few of the really amazing ways to incorporate ACV into some of your favourite meals:
• Add ACV to some of your teas (try mixing with lemon, honey, green tea etc)
• Use as a marinade for meats or vegetables. It’s particularly GREAT for pork marinades!!
• Try spicing up some of your sauce recipes with ACV. This will especially come in handy when the summer rolls around and you’re looking for mouthwatering BBQ sauce recipes!

2. Beauty

I like to think of myself as a bit of a DIY beauty connoisseur, so when I found out that ACV is commonly used in beauty regiments, I immediately delved right into the kitchen to see what kind of concoction I could whip up!! Here’s what I experimented with over the weekend!
• Can be used alone as a facial toner
• Mix with Epsom salts and essential oils for a luscious bath
• ACV has a plethora of beneficial properties, particularly for your skin (ie helps to tighten pours and prevent breakouts), so it can be used in various DIY facemasks!

3. Cleaning

Your house is arguably where you spend a majority of the time… so cleaning green to reduce chemicals is incredibly important, and using ACV is a GREAT way to do just that!
• Simply add a cup of ACV to warm water and use as a floor or surface cleaner
• Can be used in conjunction with baking soda to help unclog drains
• Use equal parts ACV and warm water to use for window cleaning!
