Sure chocolates and roses are tried-and-true Valentine’s Day classics, but why not go a little outside of the heart-shaped box this February 14th & surprise your loved one with a homemade Love Potion made from essential oils?! Unique right?! Well yes AND no… technically love potions have been around forever… as in 2200 BCE “forever” when rituals began popping up in Ancient Near East! Since then, love potions have been prominent fixtures in both history AND pop culture – from movies, to plays and even in songs! And TODAY… they’re the fixtures of this blog post!
So without further ado, here are three unique Love Potion Essential Oil recipes to gift to your loved one this Valentine’s Day!!
Three Lavish Essential Oil Recipes
1. Relaxing Blend – because who doesn’t want a stress free Valentine’s Day? Relax with your loved one on the 14th with this Essential Oil DIY Blend – Lavender is especially soothing and when mixed with fresh, floral fragrances like jasmine it is the perfect combination for a relaxing Valentine’s Day!
- 2 drops Lavender
- 2 drops Jasmine
- 15 drops Vanilla
2. Fun & Flirty Blend – the vibrant citrus scent mixed with florals make this a fun, exciting and vivacious blend!
- 2 drops Jasmine
- 2 drops Orange
- 2 drops Sandalwood
- 1 drop Ylang Ylang
3. Sweet & Romantic Blend – of COURSE we had to include an EO blend that centered all around roses!!! It IS the symbol of Valentine’s Day after all!
